As I sit and create a healing bath (bano) I always call in my ancestors with loving intentions. A healing bath can assist with many aliments and emotions while creating a sacred space, the perfect environment to meditate. The Mayan refer to the plants used in herbal baths as ch’ulel which means “life force”. Ch’ulel is the first force of the six principals of Maya medicine and I call this element in when preparing banos. I harvest my herbs & flowers substantially without ever causing stress to the plant and encourage you to do the same. If you have a garden of your own I will ask you to pick what calls to you and include your selection into the bath. I have created my own personal prayer, during my prayer I will show gratitude to the plants so that their medicine enters your body and the plant spirits will heal. I place a jug of water under the moons light the night before we meet, absorbing energy and ask Grandmother Moon for guidance. Each plant has different properties and energy, depending on your need for the bano we will discuss the plants used. The most important thing is to create sacred space and prepare your heart for spiritual healing.
I create healing prenatal & postpartum baths but also create other spiritual healing baths.
Also have baths available for babies and newborns .
